The newly refurbished 4* Westlodge Hotel, Bantry is looking for a senior receptionist to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks.
As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for the company and provide administrative support across the organization. You will handle the flow of people through the business and ensure that all receptionist responsibilities are completed accurately, delivered with high quality, and in a timely manner.
Responsibilities
1. Serve visitors by greeting, welcoming, directing, and announcing them appropriately.
2. Deal with check-ins, check-outs, reservation inquiries, and be responsible for daily lodgement.
3. Answer, screen, and forward any incoming phone calls while providing basic information when needed.
4. Update appointment calendars and schedule meetings/appointments.
5. Perform other clerical receptionist duties.
Qualifications and Skills
1. A minimum of 3 years experience in a front office handling receptionist responsibilities.
2. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
3. Professional appearance.
4. Solid communication skills both written and verbal.
5. Ability to be resourceful and proactive in dealing with issues that may arise.
6. Ability to organize, multitask, prioritize, and work under pressure.
