We are seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join our client's team in Dublin West for a 12-month contract. The successful candidate will provide HR guidance, support resolution of employee relations issues, analyse HR metrics and improve stakeholder engagement. A hybrid working arrangement is offered with three days onsite and two days working from home.
Responsibilities
* Provide HR advice and support to assigned business areas.
* Utilize employment law and policy & procedure knowledge to advise the best possible solution.
* Analyse and prepare HR performance management data to share requested information and findings.
* Assist in the development and implementation of organisational change initiatives.
* Contribute effectively to workforce planning as needed.
* Advise on recruitment and retention strategies.
* SUPPORT MANAGEMENT TO DEAL WITH EMPLOYEE RELATIONS ISSUES, PROVIDING SOUND ADVICE ON ANY IR ISSUES THAT MAY ARISE.
* Manage recruitment processes through all stages, from drafting role specifications to candidate selection.
* On-board and induct all incoming employees.
* Support payroll inputs for the organisation.
* Support the probation management process for all employees.
* Design and deliver internal training courses as required.
Experience Required
* A third-level qualification in a relevant discipline such as Human Resources or Business/Commerce.
* Five years or more of relevant HR experience.
* A full Category B driving licence.
* Public sector experience is desirable but not essential.
* Industrial Relations experience is highly desirable.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Detailed-oriented with strong organisational skills.
