Job Description
The EMEA Event Productions team is seeking a skilled events support engineer to assist customers with technical event requirements, filming and studio productions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Work closely with customers on the technical delivery of events.
* Set up and de-rig equipment before and after an event, including cameras, audio systems, vision mixers, playback systems and lights.
* Direct and own event operations during an event.
* Develop and maintain event/AV standards, driving process improvements.
* Operate autonomously, leading, training and overseeing vendor personnel as needed.
* Maintain professional, discreet and service-minded communication with customers and colleagues in all modes.
* Collaborate effectively with Event team members and various levels of the organization.
* Report complex equipment issues, make repairs if possible and ensure preventive maintenance.
* Raise the bar for customers by identifying opportunities to evolve services and improve skillsets and processes.
* Ensure adherence to Health and Safety policies for self and others.
* Ensure Security policies are followed to protect customer data.
About the Team
The Event Production team provides high-quality support to internal Amazon customers, consisting of engineers who work daily with production equipment to plan and execute events within the space.
The team culture prioritizes quality customer support, customizing each event for maximum results.
* Minimum 2 years of experience in event production with video/audio/lighting equipment.
* Livestream or live broadcast operations experience.
* Videography or camera operation experience.
* Experience in vision/audio mixing.
* Excellent customer service skills.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Studio set experience and understanding of set etiquette.
* Bachelor's degree in film, media, production, marketing or equivalent work experience.
* Proficiency in MacOS, WindowsOS, Microsoft Outlook and MS Office Suite.
