Role Overview: The Finance Manager will play a pivotal role in managing the financial operations of a complex, multi-jurisdictional business.
This role will involve oversight of statutory compliance, preparation of financial statements under US GAAP, and leadership in audit and financial structuring processes.
You will be responsible for managing the groups global finance operations, supporting internal teams, and driving efficiencies and improvements in processes.

Key Responsibilities: Lead the statutory compliance requirements of over 200 companies globally across multiple jurisdictions.
Prepare the groups monthly management accounts, financial statements, and quarterly reporting under US GAAP, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Conduct a critical review of quarterly management accounts to ensure they align with the required GAAP.
Analyse and review accounting standards and policies adopted across the group.
Identify complex accounting matters or transactions requiring technical review, providing input to ensure proper accounting treatment in line with IFRS and US GAAP.
Oversee internal processes and checklists to ensure all financial requirements are met, including acquisitions, disposals, and new entity incorporations.
Lead the annual audit process, ensuring compliance and accuracy, and review the annual financial statements.
Take charge of the annual liquidation process and contribute to tax structuring initiatives to optimise the financial position.
Provide critical accounting analysis to support the deal team in financial assessments and decision-making.
Offer support to the Accounts Payable and Tax teams on financial and operational matters.
Provide financial support in banking and treasury operations, ensuring optimal cash flow and financial stability.
Support, mentor, and develop new members of the Finance team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
Lead initiatives to identify and drive efficiencies and process improvements across the finance function.
Assist with the implementation and integration of new financial software and systems to enhance operational efficiency.
Key Qualifications & Skills: Must be ACA/ACCA/CPA qualified with 5 years post-qualification experience.
Ideally, candidates will have experience in the aircraft leasing industry, though a strong background in financial management in a multi-jurisdictional environment will also be considered.
In-depth knowledge of IFRS, IFRS consolidation, and US GAAP is essential.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with general ledger (GL) systems is advantageous.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with internal stakeholders and external parties, including auditors and tax advisors.
Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to analyse complex financial data accurately.
Possess strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet shifting deadlines.
Outstanding problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving challenges.
Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
