Are you ready to lead a team of talented engineers and shape the future of development infrastructure? AECOM continues to expand their successful and established Infrastructure Development team in Ireland and requires a Principal Engineer to join the Dublin, Galway OR Cork office in Ireland.
We are looking for relevant work experience in the design and delivery of civil infrastructure from inception to handover including experience in the design of SUDs, water main distribution pipelines, storm and foul gravity collection networks, surface water catchment analysis, flood risk assessments, highway and pavement design, earthworks modelling and working knowledge of DMRB and DMUR.
Current & Upcoming Projects:
* ESB HV Cable Replacement (civil works)
* Parkland and public realm projects for Local Authorities
* Residential Developments for the Land Development Agency (LDA)
* Large scale infrastructure projects such as EV bus depots for the National Transport Authority (NTA)
Here's what you'll do:
* Deliver: Provide high quality civil engineering support and services to all project stages, from feasibility through to Detailed Design and Construction.
* Oversee: Take ownership of tasks required for each project stage, providing guidance to entry-level engineers and coordinating with relevant multi-disciplinary teams.
* Provide Expertise: Offer technical knowledge on all aspects of multi-disciplinary projects, particularly drainage design.
* Ensure Quality: Strive for excellence in all projects, following AECOM QA/QC procedures.
* Collaborate: Work with internal and external multi-disciplinary engineers and stakeholders to successfully deliver integrated designs.

Qualifications

Here's what we're looking for:
* A Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
* Experienced in using relevant industry-standard software including Microdrainage or InfoDrainage, AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
* Experience of working in a multidisciplinary design team.
* Experienced in undertaking site inspections, test witnessing and reporting.
