About Your New Role
We are expanding our Maintenance Team in Operations within the Industrial Gases in the UK and Ireland, and we're looking for an experienced engineer to join our team.
You will provide maintenance services to all Global Operations production facilities in Ireland, focusing on practical work at various production plants.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Troubleshooting and repair of electrical equipment such as rotating machines, static systems and devices
* Preventive maintenance, installation and some design of electrical equipment
* Supporting plant improvement projects and commissioning activities for new plants and additions to existing production plants
* Commissioning activities may be in support of both sales of gas contracts and sale of equipment contracts
* Providing training for plant-based staff on electrical systems, switching and electrical safety
What You'll Need to Succeed
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A recognised Industrial Electrical Engineering Apprenticeship
* A continuous history of working in electrical engineering maintenance, installation, commissioning, contractor supervision, fault-finding, repair etc
* High voltage experience, including operation of private network HV distribution systems and holding Electrically Authorised person status
* Large HV Synchronous/Asynchronous motor experience
* Large HV power transformers and distribution transformer experience
* Computer skills
* A valid driving licence
What You'll Get in Return
In return for your expertise, you can expect a competitive salary ranging from €65,000 to €70,000 per annum, plus a fully financed car, a 7% yearly bonus, 26 days' holidays plus bank holidays and up to 8% pension.
