We are looking for staff who are committed to supporting people with disabilities and their families, in a person centred, community based, socially inclusive manner in accordance with our mission and national standards, underpinned by equity, quality, best practice and research.Specified Purpose: 9 Months to 1 YearJob Responsibilities:The post holder will be responsible for the daily management and operations of assigned units.Lead a staff team and oversee the implementation of New Directions in day services.Promote optimum independence and maintain the highest standards of person centredness in delivering services to people with intellectual disabilities.Qualifications:Minimum Ordinary Degree (HETAC Level 7) in Applied Social Studies/Social Care, Nursing or recognised equivalent.Management qualification or commitment to complete management course is desirable.Experience:Experience working with people with Intellectual Disabilities is essential.Experience in a management/leadership role is essential.Experience in the delivery of day services under the New Direction model is desirable.Full clean driving licence and willingness to drive as part of role.Informal enquiries to:Patricia Hourican - Programme Director | Activation 2 | St. Christopher's Services | Battery Road Longford | Co.
