Payroll Officer
We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Officer to join our team.
About the Role
This is a critical role in maintaining compliance with relevant laws and regulations, resolving payroll discrepancies, and collaborating with various departments to streamline payroll processes.
Key Responsibilities
* Process payroll using Time Management System (TMS) and Sage Micropay for weekly and monthly employees in both the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland.
* Address payroll-related queries from employees and relevant stakeholders.
* Monitor and update the in-house time and attendance system linked to TMS.
* Register new employees in TMS and generate daily reports for the shop floor.
* Facilitate company and employee payments/expenses through online banking software.
* Complete monthly P30s and yearly P60s for submission to the Company Accountant.
* Calculate share payouts and other payroll-related financial adjustments.
* Prepare letters for PPS numbers, banks, mortgage applications, and other employee requests.
* Provide payroll-related administrative support and ensure accurate record-keeping.
* Assist with general administrative tasks and other duties relevant to the role.
Requirements
* Minimum of 5 years' experience in high-volume payroll processing within a production/manufacturing environment.
* Working knowledge of Sage Micropay and TMS.
* Experience with ADP payroll is advantageous.
* Strong understanding of payroll regulations in both the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland.
Travel
Up to 10% travel may be required to other sites.
