Responsibilities of the General Manager Oversee the daily operations of the corporate catering division, ensuring top-tier service, food quality, and presentation.
Lead and manage a team of chefs, front-of-house staff, and support personnel, providing clear guidance and direction.
Foster and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, understanding their unique needs and providing tailored solutions.
Manage the financial aspects of the business, including budgeting, cost control, and revenue generation.
Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, as well as company policies and industry standards.
Monitor and maintain high levels of client satisfaction, addressing and resolving any issues promptly and professionally.
Implement training programs and foster staff development to ensure ongoing performance improvement.
Collaborate with the senior management team to strategise and drive business growth initiatives.
Requirements of the General Manager Proven experience in a senior management role (General Manager, Operations Manager, etc.)
within luxury hotels, fine dining restaurants, or high-end catering.
Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team of employees.
Exceptional organisational and communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
Solid financial management skills, including budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting.
In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations within the catering and hospitality industry.
