Responsibilities:
* Sales Strategy Development:
o Assist in developing and implementing effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and increase market share.
o Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
* Team Leadership:
o Support the Director of Sales in leading the sales team, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure high performance.
o Foster a positive and collaborative team environment focused on achieving sales goals.
* Client Relationship Management:
o Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and partners to drive business opportunities and customer loyalty.
o Represent the property at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to promote brand visibility and engagement.
* Sales Forecasting and Reporting:
o Monitor sales performance metrics and provide regular reports to the Director of Sales, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
o Assist in budget preparation and manage departmental expenses to maximize profitability.
* Collaboration with Departments:
o Work closely with marketing, revenue management, and operations teams to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives.
o Participate in cross-departmental meetings to provide insights and feedback on sales strategies and client feedback.
Requirements:
* Experience:
o Proven experience in a sales management role within the hospitality industry, preferably in luxury or upscale properties.
* Sales Skills:
o Strong understanding of sales principles, strategies, and techniques with a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
* Leadership:
o Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse sales team.
* Communication:
o Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and negotiate effectively.
* Analytical Skills:
o Strong analytical skills to assess sales performance and market trends, translating data into actionable insights.
* Flexibility:
