Hotel Talent is seeking a highly analytical and strategic Area Revenue Manager to join a well-renowned hotel group. The main focus of this role is to optimize room revenue through effective pricing, inventory management, and distribution strategies. It also includes analyzing and driving revenue performance across all revenue-generating areas, such as Accommodation, Leisure Club, Meeting & Events, and Food & Beverage.
The role is located over two properties.
Responsibilities
Revenue Optimization & Management
* Implement pricing strategies to maximize room revenue and optimize inventory and yield.
* Analyze market trends, competitor pricing, and demand forecasts to adjust rates.
* Identify revenue opportunities across all hotel departments.
Data Insights & Reporting
* Analyze revenue data and prepare regular performance reports.
* Collaborate with finance, sales, and operations for accurate forecasting.
* Provide insights on booking patterns, segmentation, and distribution.
Channel & Distribution Strategy
* Optimize distribution channels for rate parity and availability.
* Enhance the hotel's website to boost direct bookings.
* Work with marketing teams to align strategies and improve third-party platform performance.
Collaboration & Revenue Strategy
* Align revenue strategies with business goals across teams.
* Train staff on revenue management best practices.
* Identify opportunities for upselling and promotions.
The Ideal Candidate
* Minimum 3 years experience in a revenue management role within the hospitality industry.
* Experience managing OTAs, GDS, and direct booking platforms.
* Strong expertise in pricing strategies, market segmentation, and managing distribution channels.
* Proficient in e-commerce, digital marketing, and optimizing direct booking efforts.
* Effective communicator with the ability to collaborate across departments.
