Full job description The Director of Nursing will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the nursing department, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards, and fostering a positive, supportive environment for both staff and residents.

You will report directly to the Regional Director & the Registered Provider, and play a key role in managing, developing, and supporting your own team of nursing professionals.

Monitor and evaluate the care provided to residents, implementing improvements where necessary to maintain excellent care standards, and contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to improve overall care delivery.

(required) 6 years experience as an R.G.N, registered with The Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with residents, family members, team members, management and external bodies e.g.
HIQA, HSE, GPs etc.
Excellent IT skills essential (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Excellent knowledge of organisation of health services and trends nationally and internationally Excellent Knowledge of HIQA standard and regulations and health and safety requirements Excellent Leadership and Organisational skills.
Sound decision making and problem-solving abilities and results driven.
Ability to work well and promote a team environment.
Willingness to be flexible and adapt to the needs of the company.
