Commercial Heat Pump Manager
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and motivated Commercial Heat Pump Manager to join our team at a market-leading specialist in the Renewable Energy Sector.
The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years' business development experience, preferably within the construction or allied industry. This role requires a strong technical background and is highly target-driven, with the ability to work independently to drive growth and expand the client base in the quickly growing commercial heat pump sector.
Key Responsibilities:
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities to meet and exceed sales targets.
* Roll out CPDs to Mechanical Consultants, specifiers, developers, County Councils, OPW, etc.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with consultants, contractors, and key stakeholders.
* Develop and implement strategic plans to increase market share within the sector.
* Manage inventory & forecasting.
* Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
* Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals.
* Take ownership of projects from specification & quotation to final installation.
* Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client satisfaction and project success.
* Report on sales performance and provide insights on market developments.
Qualifications & Experience Requirements:
* Minimum 5 years of business development experience, ideally in construction sales.
* Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
* Strong technical, communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
* Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
* Knowledge of commercial heat pumps an advantage.
* Target-driven and results-oriented.
* Self-starter with the ability to work on own initiative.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Degree in engineering/building services.
