Warehouse Team Leader
We seek an experienced Warehouse Team Leader who will co-ordinate the day-to-day activities of the Warehouse and Pack Out areas to meet production targets for customer delivery, product quality & cost, ensuring a safe work environment at all times.
Main Responsibilities:
* Lead & co-ordinate the day-to-day activities of the Materials team to meet production targets for customer delivery.
* Apply lean tools to drive continuous improvement & process reliability.
* Attend daily huddles, reviewing key metrics to ensure operation is on target.
* Create a high performing flexible team which achieves excellent results through coaching, mentoring & effective performance management.
* Ensure regular team communications, engaging all material handling personnel.
* Review KPI's through visual management tools & co-ordinate training to perform assigned tasks.
* Responsible for performance management and training of direct reports.
* Ensure timely completion of performance reviews, offering PDP opportunities.
* Ensure all team members are trained in their roles and support standard work development.
* Communicate warehouse and materials information effectively.
* Co-ordinate with Workcell Leaders and Shift Team Leaders for OTIF shipments.
* Work with Supply Chain Department to plan resources and operations.
* Lead area 6S program to resolve housekeeping, GMP & Safety issues.
* Manage equipment, inventory control, and barcoding systems.
* Manage offsite storage vendors and consumable KANBAN levels.
* Manage environmental and pest control in the warehouse and packout areas.
* SUPPORT COMPANY SAFETY AND QUALITY PROGRAMS.
Requirements:
* Level 7 management or relevant supervisory qualification desirable.
* Experience in operations essential.
* Previous people management experience.
* Excellent initiative and decision-making capability.
* Able to motivate self and others.
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Office & ERP systems.
Estimated Salary: €50,000 - €65,000 per year.
