Tasks:
The Stroke Support group meets on the last MONDAY of each month at a venue in Ennis. The group is looking for volunteers to become part of their driving service to drive some of their members to the venue as they have no transport or cannot drive due to illness.
The volunteer driving service is door to door, where members are picked up from their home address, dropped off at the Stroke Support Group, and later picked up and brought home again. Stroke Support Groups will last for at least 2 hours, and drivers must remain flexible and available in case they need to bring the member home.
All volunteers interested in this role must have their own transport and a full clean driving license. Volunteers must have business class insurance and be able to provide proof of the same. Volunteers will be matched according to their location.

* Business Class Insurance and proof of same.
* Good timekeeping skills are essential.
* Adhere to Health and Safety for you and the members.
* Good communication and listening skills.
* Good conversation skills and ability to know when it is appropriate or not to talk.
* Experience working with vulnerable adults is an advantage.
* Helpful and caring manner with a friendly disposition.
* Professional attitude and ability to maintain confidentiality.
