Primary responsibilities of this position will include, but not be limited to; - Adare Manor are seeking to hire a Laundry Maintenance Technician to repair and maintain a Mechanical Ironing Machine, Commercial grade washing machines, Tumble Dryers, Commercial Steam ironing equipment, Drycleaning equipment.
Key Responsibilities: Keep the equipment in the hotel laundry in a well maintained and reliable condition Repair and maintenance of a commercial grade flatiron, washing machines, tumble dryers, boilers, calorifiers and hot and cold-water systems and pumps, Water Softening systems Experience of working on a Chicago Flat iron or similar manufacturer would be an advantage Be flexible and happy to maintain all aspects of the laundry and admin building area Carry out PPMs on all laundry equipment Flexibility to cover other areas within the facilities department.
Knowledge & Skills: Good mechanical skills and experience for repair and maintenance of moving machinery with drive belts motors, gearboxes & chain drives Aptitude to trouble shoot electrical problems Plumbing and pipework skills Water Treatment Systems Detergent dispensing systems Experience working with a CMMS We offer exceptional working environment, development opportunities that are beyond everything, state of the art equipment as well as very competitive rates of pay & benefits.
