Summary Of Position
National Vehicle Distribution is seeking an experienced accounts payable or payroll clerk looking to upskill to join our accounts team in New Ross, Co Wexford. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring payroll is completed accurately each week and supplier relationships are managed. This role is suited to a solution-focused individual who is looking to further their career in a growing team.

Requirements
* Prior experience in an accounts office role
* Strong attention to detail to ensure completeness and accuracy of information
* Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in written form with peers and senior management
* Self-motivated, proactive, ability to ensure tasks are finalised to strict deadlines
* Hands-on experience of using SAGE or similar accounting software would be an advantage
* Proficient with MS Word and Excel
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Responsibilities
* Assisting the Payroll Officer with the preparation of weekly payroll, including reviewing timesheets submitted, tracking holidays.
* Processing employee expense claim forms
* Drafting submissions to Revenue and Pension Providers
* Dealing with employee payroll-related queries
* Processing of expense invoices for the accounts payable department
* Reconciliation of supplier and customer accounts on a monthly basis
* Other ad-hoc finance projects
