Head Chef Opportunity
As the Head Chef, you are responsible for overseeing all aspects of kitchen management and personnel, ensuring the highest standards of menu preparation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage kitchen areas and personnel with the Exec Chef.
* Co-ordinate roster scheduling and labour costs.
* Assist with recruitment and oversee staff productivity and performance.
* Develop and implement new menu ideas for special events and seasonal changes.
* Prioritise, organise, and delegate work assignments.
* Oversee staff performance and maintain positive relationships with suppliers and other departments.
Requirements:
* 2-3 years experience in a similar role at a 4* hotel in Ireland or as an experienced Sous Chef.
* Ability to operate and maintain all kitchen equipment.
* Capacity to develop a team spirit amongst kitchen staff.
* Familiarity with HACCP protocols and food safety guidelines.
