They are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Site Manager, who is based in Ireland with strong expertise in HVAC, to join one of their dynamic teams based in Galway. Role Overview: Attend the Project Handover meeting with the Contracts Manager, Project Manager, and Engineer to receive the full project handover package and assist in developing the QEHS (Quality, Environmental, Health & Safety) documentation. Set up the Site Office and Stores, including all necessary signage. Maintain the Site Office and Stores to a high standard throughout the project duration. Issue bi-weekly P&T HILTI Reports. Issue bi-weekly Project Reports, or at intervals specified by the Main Contractor. Assist the Contracts Manager in preparing the project programme of works. Support payroll in resolving any timesheet-related queries. Coordinate mechanical services and builders work drawings. Order materials and monitor plant delivery dates to ensure alignment with the programme. Submit signed delivery dockets to the Procurement Department as needed. Manage sub-contractors and direct on-site staff with regard to safety, quality, and coordination of installations. Assist Project Engineers in ensuring quality documentation is delivered according to project milestones. Inform the Contracts Manager of any on-site variations and proceed with variations only upon receipt of formal instruction. Attend site and whiteboard meetings to discuss progress and weekly updates. Ensure high-quality standards are maintained across all installations on site. Oversee the commissioning and testing of mechanical services. Manage project close-out actions and site decanting procedures. Desired Criteria: Trade qualified with previous site management experience within the HVAC industry is essential. Experience in the healthcare sector is advantageous. Proficient in the use of all MS Office programs. A highly motivated individual with a strong commitment to achieving project success, maintaining high-quality standards, and meeting deadlines. Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate both themselves and others.
