DPD Ireland are currently recruiting a Senior People Operations Generalist to work as part of our People Operations Team in our Head Office in Athlone.
Reporting directly to the Head of People and Talent, this strategic role will significantly impact our organisation's success. You will lead the development and execution of our people strategy, positioning us as an Employer of Choice. This role offers the chance to shape best in class People practices and provide comprehensive people management services to the business.
* Deliver support, advice and guidance on complex employee-related matters including company employment policies and procedures, grievances, disciplinary, health and welfare matters. Ensure the consistent application of policy, adherence to natural justice and fairness in all processes.
* Design and review of the Employee Value Proposition ensuring fair and transparent reward and benefit practices across the business.
* Develop and maintain job descriptions that accurately reflect job duties, responsibilities, and required skills.
* Conduct job evaluations using the Willis Towers Watson methodology, including job analysis, data collection, and documentation.
* Maintain and update the company job level matrix and career bands in accordance with market data, internal equity, and business strategy.
* Develop and implement compensation policies and procedures.
* Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on compensation-related matters.
* Championing and enabling equality, inclusion and diversity creating a culture where everyone feels respected, valued and heard.
* Continuously drive improvements in all HR tools and processes used throughout the employee life cycle and promote a positive employee experience.
* Responsible for producing all people reporting requirements to a high degree of quality and continuously improving our reporting and insights on ongoing basis.
* Responsible for initiation, planning, execution, reviewing and closing of People Projects as they arise.
Candidate Requirements:
* A degree or qualification in HR or a related discipline is desirable.
* Minimum 5 years’ experience in a People Operations role.
* Strong understanding of job evaluation methodologies, particularly the Willis Towers Watson methodology required.
* Compensation and Benefits specialist knowledge and experience.
* Strong knowledge of employment law in Ireland required, experience in managing complex employee relations issues is desirable.
* Excellent proficiency in all Microsoft Office software essential including advanced Excel skills.
* Approachable, helpful and relates well to people, all of the time. Champions respect, care and honesty with others.
* Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to persuade and influence.
* Communicates with others in a way that conveys passion for the business, energies others and leads to impactful outcomes.
