Job Description
1. Lead and manage the Engineering & Manufacturing department to ensure operational effectiveness.
2. Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the department.
3. Develop and implement strategies to improve productivity and efficiency.
4. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
5. Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations.
6. Foster a culture of safety and compliance within the department.
7. Liaise with stakeholders to align departmental goals with company objectives.
8. Build, develop and empower high performing teams.
9. Achieve financial targets by preparing and reviewing department cost center budgets.
10. Understanding of production forecasts and SAP systems.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Manufacturing Manager should have:
1. Bachelor's degree (preferred) in technical field / science.
2. Minimum of 5 years supervisory/leadership experience.
3. Experience in field or plant operation.
4. Experience implementing FDA and GMP regulations.
5. Strong people agility and flexibility.
6. Experience leading and developing non-exempt and exempt staff.
7. High volume and high complexity production experience.
8. In-depth understanding of production forecasts and SAP systems.
9. Ability to work cross functionally and influence others.
10. In-depth understanding of manufacturing constraints/bottlenecks.
11. Understanding and application of Lean Principles and Daily Management System.
