Our client, a well-established Insurance Brokerage, is recruiting for a Commercial Account Executive to join their growing team.
About the Role
This is a permanent contract based in Sligo town.
This role will involve interacting with both existing and potential clients, providing quotes, and offering advice on insurance coverage and services.
* Providing expert advice on all aspects of commercial insurance.
* Ensuring clients understand the terms and coverage of their policies in accordance with industry regulations.
* Negotiating terms and securing business with underwriters.
* Offering exceptional customer service to all clients, both existing and new.
* Researching policies from various insurance providers and negotiating with underwriters to find the most suitable and cost-effective coverage.
Key Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will be sales-driven, self-motivated, and customer-focused.
You will be responsible for:
* Anticipating clients' insurance needs, such as renewals or policy amendments.
Requirements
We are seeking a candidate with:
* At least 2 years of experience in a commercial lines role, along with a minimum of APA Commercial Qualification.
* Experience with SME & Commercial Insurance policies.
* Ability to manage workload and meet deadlines.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including telephone proficiency.
* Self-motivation, enthusiasm, and a solution-oriented approach.
* Ability to work effectively within a team and contribute to the company's growth.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Possession of relevant IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and other tools.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and take ownership of actions.
* Detail-oriented with good time management skills.
* Capability of making real-time decisions and managing workload independently.
