Job Title: Global Procurement Director - IT
Location: Dublin, Ireland
Circle K is a leading global convenience store chain committed to providing high-quality products and services to our customers. We are seeking a Global Procurement Director - IT to lead our IT procurement efforts and drive strategic sourcing initiatives.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute the IT procurement strategy to support the company's global operations.
* Manage the global procurement network and provide core procurement support functions.
* Negotiate large-scale complex supply and non-retail contracts.
* Deliver procurement synergies by standardising efforts, exploiting unleveraged scale opportunities, consolidating vendor partners and distribution points, challenging current business models and technologies.
* Manage and direct procurement BPO partner and suppliers.
* Design, implement, and secure strong governance for the procurement systems and tools across all geographies and functional areas.
* Lead supplier selection, negotiations, and relationship management for IT services, hardware, software, and professional services.
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align IT procurement activities with business goals and objectives.
* Implement cost-saving initiatives and drive continuous improvement in IT procurement processes.
* Monitor and manage supplier performance to ensure compliance with contracts and service level agreements.
* Stay abreast of industry trends and technological advancements to identify opportunities for innovation and efficiency.
* Mentor and develop the procurement team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
* Represent the company in external negotiations and industry forums.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or similar.
* 10 years of IT procurement experience, with 5 years in a senior leadership role.
* Proven record of successful strategic IT procurement and supplier management.
* Knowledge of IT industry trends and best practices.
* Strong analytical, commercial, and negotiation skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in a global, cross-functional team environment.
* Experience developing new partnerships and supplier portfolios globally for relevant categories.
* Ability to manage global procurement networks with internal stakeholders to optimise scale and cost savings.
* Exceptional multitasking and organisational skills given competing priorities and deadlines.
* Advanced MS Office; SAP, Ariba, Coupa, or similar.
* Self-driven and able to engage with and secure execution from others.
* Flexibility to work non-traditional hours in line with global time-zones; willing to travel as required.
