Contract:
Permanent, Full-Time (40 Hours) Our client is seeking a full-timePerson in Chargeto join their team.
This leadership role involves managing their community, ensuring person-centered support for individuals with intellectual disabilities, and fostering a safe and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Governance:
Provide strategic advice and guidance to the Senior Management Team (SMT) and ensure the smooth functioning of the community
Operational Management:
Oversee residential, day, and supported living services, ensuring compliance with HIQA standards
Staff Management:
Lead and support a team of coworkers, ensure appropriate staffing levels, and promote continuous staff development
Financial Stewardship:
Manage community budgets and ensure resources are used effectively and responsibly
Resident Support:
Ensure that residents needs and aspirations are met through person-centered plans and support systems
Partnership Building:
Develop relationships with the HSE and other agencies to support community initiatives and collaboration
Qualifications &
Experience:
Education:
Minimum Level 7 qualification (BA in Social Care Studies, Social Care Management, or equivalent)
Experience:
At least 3 years of senior management experience. Minimum 5 years experience in the health, social care, or voluntary sector.
Skills:
Strong leadership, management, and communication skills, with a deep understanding of regulatory requirements in health and social care
