Head of Payroll

The Head of Payroll will play a key role in guiding HR and Finance teams in managing local payroll operations across the Group. This involves developing and implementing the Group Payroll strategy, providing industry expertise to support decision-making, and collaborating with Regional/Functional Leads to identify process improvements.
In this role, you will lead the rollout of regional payroll solutions and stakeholder integration, while ensuring timely and accurate processing of Group payrolls. You will also be responsible for compiling monthly and weekly payroll information, liaising with third-party payroll providers, and reconciling payroll-related activities to the general ledger.
You will have the opportunity to address payroll-related queries and issues from employees across the Group, ensuring compliance with internal payroll procedures and regulations. As a leader, you will promote a diverse workplace that enables all team members to reach their full potential.
This is an exciting opportunity for a strong leader who can manage competing priorities and drive business outcomes. The ideal candidate will have:
* A degree in a relevant field and Accounting/Payroll qualification
* Experience with SAP & Success Factors (advantageous)
* 7-10 years of experience in a large international organisation
* Strong leadership and influencing skills
* Proven project management and analytical skills, with a focus on metrics
* Expertise in Payroll/Time processes and HR functions
* Excellent communication, leadership, interpersonal, and teamwork skills
