Your role and responsibilities
At IBM Cloudability, we deliver a best-in-class FinOps platform that helps customers enable their IT, finance, and DevOps teams to work together to optimize cloud resources for speed, cost, and quality.
We are looking for outcome-focused, strategic thinkers to join our Product management team to help us continue to drive those customer results.
The Cloudability Product Management team serves a diverse set of global stakeholders, including customers, partners, engineering, sales, product marketing, and support.
In this role, you will be responsible for planning and accelerating our shift-left strategy for our FinOps solution.
You will oversee and execute strategic initiatives to deliver value and drive successful outcomes for all stakeholders.
What you'll do: Lead the development of DevOps integration features by collaborating with engineering, documentation, and design teams.
Translate customer requirements and business strategy into clear tactical priorities with measurable outcomes.
Act as a subject matter expert (SME) to support sales engineers and internal teams in understanding solutions for various business use cases.
Interface with the market, customers, and prospects to uncover pain points and opportunities for innovation, using this feedback to inform the product strategy.
Facilitate discovery sessions with customers and stakeholders to gather and prioritize requirements, converting them into a high-quality engineering backlog.
Deliver presentations detailing the value proposition and technical stack of features, collaborating with software architects to develop solutions.
Collaborate with developers to ensure alignment between product features and acceptance criteria, troubleshooting and resolving issues as they arise.
Work across teams—Delivery, Sales, Support, and Marketing—to gather feedback, refine strategy, and provide content to ensure feature adoption and success.
Stay updated on cloud native technologies to ensure product relevance and competitiveness.

Excellent analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use data and metrics to make recommendations and measure success.
Required technical and professional expertise: 5+ years of experience in product management, particularly in software, cloud, or infrastructure-focused roles.
2+ years of experience with DevOps or infrastructure software, with a strong emphasis on container technologies and cloud-native environments.
Familiarity with modern DevOps pipeline tooling such as Ansible, Terraform, GitOps, Cloudformation.
Demonstrated ability to thrive in complex situations, solving custom problems and navigating ambiguous environments to drive clarity and outcomes.
Strong technical acumen, with hands-on experience in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, enabling effective engagement with engineering teams and cross-functional stakeholders.
Preferred technical and professional experience: FinOps experience or familiarity with cloud financial management practices.
Expertise in Cloud Cost billing and usage analytics for major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI).
