Clinical Supports Manager Permanent Contract 35 hours per week Newbridge, Co.
Kildare base with hybrid working Therapy Manager in Charge III €86,570 to €95,280 annually The Clinical Supports Manager will lead, manage and co-ordinate a range of clinical services across Kares Adult Clinical Supports Team, Childrens Disability Network Team (South Kildare West Wicklow Childrens Disability Network Team) and Young Adults Team (Kare HSE).
The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, developing, managing and reviewing services in line with the identified needs in the area, aligned to Kares Strategic Plan and the needs of the individual clinical teams, the service level agreements, regulations and legislation that apply to adult and children disability services.
Responsibilities Lead, manage and co-ordinate the effective delivery of a range of clinical services (existing and planned) to children, families and adult services Participate as a core member of the Senior Management Team, involved strategically in the guidance of the organisation towards the achievement of its vison and mission Provide line-management, clinical leadership and support to the Kare Adults Clinical Supports team, CDNT Manager, YAT Manager and Nurse Coordinator Provide a clinical leadership and oversight role to the CDNT and YAT teams, supporting the planning for current and future development of this service Be responsible for financial planning and budgeting for the services and departments in the areas of responsibility and manage the financial resources in line with Kares financial policies Coordinate and participate in ongoing monitoring, audit and evaluation of services, develop and promote research opportunities, and promote and develop good models of practice working within an appropriate quality framework Ensure that all services develop and operate their models of service in line with national policies and agreed frameworks, organisational strategy and ensure team plans are in place that enable the efficiency and effectiveness of the service Adopt a person centred and collaborative model of working with all service users and their supporters to achieve the best outcomes for the person and in line with the legislation and policies that apply to upholding the rights of people with disability Promote and be responsible for organisational projects and initiatives, including development of training relevant to service delivery and support for service users This list in not exhaustive Requirements A relevant Third level Clinical qualification A post graduate qualification and/or experience in leading and managing teams Experience working in a multidisciplinary setting, with a minimum of 5 years working at a senior level Experience of working with people with disabilities and understanding of National Policy and trends in disability services Be committed to the ethos and values of Kare Display excellent organisational skills and the ability to plan and set priorities Have excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills Can meet the duties and responsibilities outlined above Hold a full Irish driving licence and have use of own vehicle Be eligible to work in Ireland Benefits 32 days annual leave Paid Maternity/Paternity Leave (subject to service) Rewarding work with flexible hours Employee Assistance Programme Contributory Pension Plan Optional Salary Protection Plan and local Employee Discounts Personal Development, Professional Growth and Career Progression A detailed Job Description is available on request.
