Part-Time HR Administrator (22.5 hours/week - 5 mornings)
Skillnet Ireland seeks an organised HR Administrator to provide comprehensive support across the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, training administration, HR documentation, and HRIS management. This role is pivotal in ensuring smooth HR operations while supporting our transition to a digital-first HR environment.
Key Responsibilities
Process Co-ordination
* Oversee end-to-end workflows (e.g. onboarding/offboarding, probation, performance management).
* Troubleshoot operational issues and escalate complex matters as needed.
* Partner with other departments to streamline workflows and support company-wide initiatives.
* Maintain accurate employee data in HRIS and ensure compliance with recordkeeping standards (digital and physical).
Continuous Improvement
* Identify opportunities to streamline processes through automation or improved workflows.
* Support the adoption of new HR technologies and digital transformation efforts.
Talent Acquisition and Onboarding
* Manage recruitment administration, including applicant tracking system (ATS) administration, diary management and coordination with external recruitment partners.
* Act as the main point of contact for candidates and new hires, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience.
* Prepare employment contracts and other HR-related documentation.
Training & Development
* Assist in training needs analysis and support the implementation of annual training plans.
* Coordinate learning initiatives and track employee development activities.
Compliance and Policy Management
* Ensure adherence to company policies and legal requirements (e.g., right-to-work documentation).
* Support audits by maintaining accurate, up-to-date records.
* Administer department-specific tools (e.g., HRIS, ATS etc).
Payroll and HR Operations
* Address payroll-related inquiries and support the monthly payroll processes.
* Generate HR reports and analyse key metrics for management review.
* Escalate complex HR issues to senior HR leadership as needed.
HR Projects and Internal Communications
* Support HR-driven projects and organizational initiatives.
* Assist in internal communications related to HR, such as surveys, and policy updates.
Essential Qualifications And Experience
* Third-level qualification in Human Resources or a related discipline
* 2 years' HR administration experience
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR-related IT systems
* Demonstrated understanding of HR policies, procedures and employment law.
Desirable Experience
* Experience supporting HR digital transformation projects (e.g., system implementations or process automation).
