Lead Civil Engineer - Industrial/Pharma Projects - Sandyford, Dublin Office/Project Location: Sandyford, Dublin Employment Type: 12 Month Renewable Contract Work Location: Office Based / Hybrid Pay: Hourly Rate €60 - €70 per hour Experience: 8+ years Visa: EU passport or Stamp 4 visa required Lead/Senior Civil Engineer required to join a multi discipline design team.
You will be responsible for leading the civil engineering design so as to deliver successfully for our clients and projects.
We are looking for someone with the right experience and skill set to manage the delivery of the overall civil design whilst being able to effectively coordinate their work with other stakeholders.
Possess excellent organization, communication and interpersonal skills Able to work in a timely, accurate and cost effective manner with strong attention to detail Lead the civil engineering design effort for projects, involving: Design and development of paving and grading layouts Design and coordinated surface and foul networks Coordinate underground utilities for the site with other disciplines Develop earthworks analysis and drawings for site development Engage with internal discipline leads to agree scope definition Manage and report on your progress and budget Manage the delivery of the civil engineering drawings and deliverables Contribute to the continuous development of the civil engineering department.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering At least 8 years of project experience Experience in pharmaceutical projects or other industrial type developments Chartered Civil Engineering qualification preferred.
Strong working knowledge and experience in analyzing and designing all aspects of medium to large scale industrial developments including: Site development, site master planning and site selection.
Underground utility routing and site space planning.
Hydrology analysis for designing storm drain systems.
Analysing and designing gravitational wastewater systems.
Performing final grading plans including cut and fill analysis and earthwork balancing.
Support permit application process.
Working knowledge and experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, StormCAD, Storm and Sanitary Analysis, WaterCAD and WaterGEMS preferrable.
Expertise in hydrology analysis tools including Micro Drainage software.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills.
