We are seeking an experienced Quality Manager at Wills Bros to oversee the quality assurance and quality control processes across Civil Engineering projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement a comprehensive Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with ISO 9001 and other relevant standards.
* Ensure that all project activities comply with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
* Conduct regular site inspections and audits to monitor quality performance and identify areas for improvement.
* Review and approve project-specific quality plans, procedures, and method statements.
* Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure quality standards are met.
* Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions for non-conformances.
* Provide training and guidance to staff on quality-related matters and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
* Prepare and present quality performance reports to senior management and clients.
* Manage the process of internal and external quality audits, ensuring timely closure of findings.
* Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes related to quality management.
Key Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
* A minimum of 5 years of experience in quality management within the civil engineering or construction industry.
* In-depth knowledge of ISO 9001 standards and other relevant quality management systems.
* Proven track record of successfully implementing and managing QMS in large-scale projects.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
* Proficiency in quality management software and tools.
* Certification in quality management (e.g., CQI, IRCA) is highly desirable.
