Job Description:
The Panel is currently engaged to source a Private Assets Fund Controller on behalf of a reputable global Investment Manager in Dublin city centre on a permanent basis.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in building the fund accounting and financial reporting processes for newly created funds.
* Assist with internal oversight of the fund administrator, responsible for overseeing and reviewing fund accounting deliverables, including valuations and financial statements associated with fund reporting close periods.
* Assist with preparation of regulatory filings in conjunction with the funds external administrator.
* Provide oversight over cash reconciliations and variance resolutions, managing all communication with third party administrator.
* Maintain and oversee expense processing and budgets for funds.
* Liaise with internal teams to manage and review the fund administrators output deliverables.
* Assist with internal quarterly reporting of Funds' asset and revenue figures.
* Assist with resolution of all investor queries and reporting templates.
* Provide oversight on fund admins work mandate, SLAs, performance metrics, schedules, etc.
Requirements:
* Experience with open-end funds and private asset investments.
* Experience working with external service providers, particularly fund administrators.
* Experience in public / private fund accounting, closing, and reporting processes.
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
* Hold an Accountancy qualification or be in the process of obtaining a qualification.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Good interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong professional relationships at all levels, with both internal and external parties.
