FRS Recruitment is working with a key public sector client to recruit for a Project Support Administrator, an exciting opportunity to step into a role that blends traditional admin with project coordination responsibilities.
About the Role: In this role, you will provide direct support to a senior leader within the department.
You'll take ownership of coordinating meetings, tracking follow-up actions, managing documentation, and ensuring nothing is overlooked.
You'll play a key role in maintaining and updating trackers, analysing information, and supporting the delivery of key priorities across the team.
Key Responsibilities: Provide high-quality administrative and project support to a senior team member Coordinate and attend key meetings, take accurate minutes, and ensure follow-up actions are tracked and completed Use and maintain trackers across multiple workstreams strong attention to detail is essential Analyse and interpret data using Excel and present information in clear, structured formats such as reports and presentations Follow up with internal stakeholders and keep actions moving strong communication and interpersonal skills required Support the manager in holding individuals accountable for agreed actions and deadlines Assist in the processing of Subject Access Requests and Freedom of Information (FOI) requests, where required Adhere to relevant legislation and policy including GDPR, Data Protection and FOI Acts Ideal Candidate: Demonstrated knowledge and experience aligned with the responsibilities of the role Advanced ICT skills, with excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel), Outlook and other systems Previous experience providing project management or project support, ideally within a healthcare or public sector setting (preferred but not essential) Strong analytical skills with the ability to interrogate data and present findings clearly Familiarity with Subject Access Requests and FOI processes, or a willingness to learn Awareness of data protection legislation, GDPR and Freedom of Information guidelines Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively Confident, proactive, and comfortable engaging with stakeholders at all levels Knowledge of how the health service operates is desirable but not essential To apply: If you're interested in this opportunity and feel you meet the above criteria, please click Apply Now to submit your CV.
