Supply Chain Planning Analyst - North Dublin.
Key tasks and responsibilities:
1. Develop and maintain a program for data integrity which ensures that accurate information, reports, and actions are generated from SAP and derivative reports.
2. Responsible for Material Availability and Can-Build Analysis reporting to advance material supply to Production.
3. Promote the use of 'Lean Supply' methods & VMI programs to minimise inventory levels, while assuring continuity of supply, through planning and inbound logistics optimisation.
4. Through analysis and reporting drive initiatives to reduce overall raw material stock holding to support site inventory targets.
5. Manage Engineering Change to optimise design cut-in, while minimising obsolescence, and maintaining supply continuity. Key interface with both Procurement and Engineering.
6. Provide analysis and information to support obsolescence and Last-Time-Buy (LTB) decisions.
7. Maintain planning parameters and BoM structures to ensure the accuracy and integrity of MRP execution to support material supply programs.
Qualifications and experience requirements:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Procurement, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline (QQI level 8).
2. Minimum of 3 years' relevant experience within a Planning, Logistics or Procurement function, preferably in an electro-mechanical manufacturing environment.
3. Experience of working with Material Planning & Control Systems covering BoM structures, Engineering Change Management, Master Production Scheduling, Planning Master Data Management, Schedule-based replenishment models, ‘Lean Supply’ methods and Logistics supply models.
4. Must have an analytical mindset and the ability to continuously improve Systems, Processes, Methods, Reports and Metrics.
5. Strong working knowledge of Planning, Logistics & Procurement Tools, Processes, and Reporting Techniques.
6. Planning and analytical skills. High attention to detail and process orientated approach to work.
7. Numeracy skills with accurate data analysis and reporting. Ability to collate and analyse large amounts of data in a methodical and structured manner. Advanced Excel user.
8. Project Management skills. Ability to implement process improvements at a site and Planning/Procurement team level to completion.
