Job Description
Vacancy for an experienced and passionate Sous Chef in Mantra Indian Restaurant, 21/22 Princes Street, Cork. Preparing and cooking Nepalese and Indian food is essential. At least 2 years experience needed as a chef. A full understanding of HACCP principles and guidelines is a must; certification in HACCP is preferred. The position will act as an assistant to the head chef and will require working in every section of the kitchen (tandoor oven, dessert section, curry preparation, sauce preparation, and plating and garnishing). The candidate must have good knowledge about Indian food as well as continental food. Applying for the Sous Chef position requires the following key assets:
