Finance Operations Manager
This position oversees the full finance function, including management reporting, budgeting, governance, systems, and payroll. The Finance Manager will support strategic planning, ensure compliance with regulatory and audit requirements, and manage financial aspects of development projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead monthly and annual financial reporting, budgeting, and analysis
* Ensure financial compliance with sectoral and statutory regulations
* Prepare reports for Board and Audit Committees
* Oversee payroll, VAT/RCT returns, and banking
* Manage rent accounting and cost control systems
* Support development funding submissions and cash flow projections
* Lead finance systems management and internal controls
* Contribute to strategic planning and support the CEO
This is a broad, hands-on finance role suited to someone with strong financial acumen, sector understanding, and leadership capability.
Requirements:
* Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent)
* Minimum 3 years’ post-qualification experience, ideally in housing, non-profit, property development or financial services
* Strong technical knowledge and financial control background
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Comfortable working in a values-driven, mission-led environment
