About Your New Role as a Project Manager
We are seeking highly motivated and skilled Project Managers to oversee and deliver construction projects from inception to completion. As a Project Manager, you will manage multiple projects, ensure timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met, and lead a team of professionals to successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Leadership: Lead and manage construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
2. Project Planning: Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, and monitor progress to ensure deadlines and milestones are met.
3. Communication and Liaison: Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to coordinate project requirements and address any issues that arise.
4. Resource Management: Manage resources and ensure the smooth running of the project site, including procurement and logistics.
5. Health and Safety: Monitor health and safety standards on-site and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
6. Documentation: Prepare and manage project documentation, including reports, contracts, and change orders.
7. Team Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, ensuring clear communication and collaboration.
8. Risk Management: Manage project risks and resolve any challenges to keep the project on track.
9. Client Relationships: Maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and subcontractors to ensure client satisfaction and repeat business.
What Skills You Need:
* A degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or relevant trade experience.
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, preferably within a main contractor environment.
* Proven experience in delivering large-scale construction projects successfully.
* Strong understanding of construction processes, project planning, and resource management.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
* In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations and practices.
* Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, or similar).
* Strong commercial acumen and financial management skills.
* Full driving license and the ability to travel to various sites as required.
