The Service Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of pharmaceutical machinery, ensuring optimal machine performance, customer satisfaction, and adherence to quality and safety standards.
Responsibilities & Competences
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
* Assembly of mechanical components
* Commissioning of pharmaceutical or similar machinery
* Performance/Yield support
* Prevention of technical issues, breakdowns, and critical incidents
* On-site production support, including inspection, maintenance, calibration, changes, upgrades, and improvements
* Troubleshooting and disaster recovery
* Format installations
* Customer training
* Documentation & reporting
* Providing long-term onsite support
* Analysing customer production needs
* Executing simple machinery modifications
* Determining recommended maintenance schedules (spare parts replacement & calibration)
* Executing move-in, installation & commissioning in a cleanroom environment
* Ensuring machines remain at validated status and involving additional support when necessary
* Following processes and documentation guidelines for pharmaceutical compliance
* Working in international teams on-site and remotely
Specifications
Job Experiences:
* Minimum 2 years experience with special machinery
* Experience with syringe & vials equipment
Education & Other Requirements:
* Mechanical or electrical degree or diploma
* Technical apprenticeship/training
* Ability to work with and read technical drawings
* 10% travel (mainly regional)
* Training travel to HQ in Germany (2-3 times per year)
