We are presently recruiting for a senior Quantity Surveyor for our clients in Mullingar, County Westmeath.
Working on various projects, you will oversee all cost management aspects of construction projects, including budgeting, tendering, contract negotiation, risk assessment, and dispute resolution, ensuring profitability and compliance with regulations.
This position can be hybrid and will require attendance on site and company HQ.
Responsibilities: Lead cost management and budgeting for multiple construction projects.
Prepare detailed tender documentation and oversee procurement processes.
Negotiate and manage contracts, ensuring compliance with legal and financial standards.
Conduct risk assessments and manage project variations.
Provide financial oversight, tracking costs, and delivering regular reports.
Resolve disputes and support claims management.
Mentor and guide junior staff, fostering professional development.
Liaise with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure project goals are met.
Requirements: Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
7+ years of relevant experience in construction or consultancy.
Strong knowledge of cost management, contracts, and Irish construction regulations A Competitive salary, Hybrid or remote working option along with bonus structure, pension plan, SCSI & RICS Fees paid for all Chartered Surveyors is offered.
