The Impact You'll Make in this Role
As an Equipment Maintenance Technician, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
* Supporting production equipment in a medical device healthcare environment
* Repairing and troubleshooting automated electro/mechanical equipment failures
* Scheduling and performing preventative maintenance procedures through PEMAC
* Maintaining accurate and up-to-date maintenance documentation.
* Working proactively to ensure production performance targets are met
* Ensuring that Good Manufacturing Practices & Good Documentation Practices are followed.
* Supporting Engineering projects and leading actions assigned to maintenance group
* Focusing on Continuous Improvement projects to drive improvements in OEE
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
* Cert./Diploma/Senior Trades in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering
* 3- 5 years experience in a similar technical role within the medical device or similar industry
* Mechanical experience within an automated manufacturing environment
* Strong troubleshooting / problem solving skills and analytical methodologies
* Flexibility to work different Shift Patterns as the business requires
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
* Working knowledge of PLCs, motor drives, pneumatic and hydraulic components.
* Demonstrating a high level of technical ability.
* Good verbal and written communication skills.
* Strong Teamwork abilities – Fostering a collaborative culture
Role Location: Athlone, Ireland
Remuneration
* Salary - €high-reaching dependent on skills and experience plus excellent benefits package.
* Shift Allowance – 25% (12-hour x 3 cycle shift patterns 7am-7pm/7pm-7am)
