As a Policy Advisor, you will join our regulatory and representative body in their Policy Department.
Your New Role
You will play a key role in advancing policy and law reform initiatives on matters that are reflective of the public interest and the interests of stakeholders.
* Conduct research and draft evidence-based and authoritative policy papers on priority topics.
* Develop proposals for law reform, underpinned by credible arguments, that are reflective of the public interest and the interests of members.
* Monitor developments in the external environment.
* Advance specific policy issues as assigned.
* Forge strong working relationships with members of Committees, engage with policymakers, NGOs, and other stakeholders.
* Draft policy-related communications for senior leaders.

Requirements
To succeed as a Policy Advisor, you will have:
* Recent relevant experience in a similar policy-related role.
* A third-level qualification in law, business, or a related field.
* At least two years of experience in public affairs, policy development, or as a political advisor or Parliamentary Assistant.
* A strong understanding of policy development and legislative processes in Ireland and the European Union.
* The ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines.
