Following a period of significant growth and our acquisition by TPG, a US Private Equity company with c.$250 BN of assets under management globally, the opportunity has arisen for a senior analyst to join the Investment Management team providing critical commercial and analytical support to the CFO and Finance team, the CEO and to key individuals and teams across the wider business.
The role will have emphasis on business plan Excel modelling, preparing management, shareholder and debt finance business plans and reporting, financial analysis/ scenario planning and monitoring of project performance across our live construction sites.
We are also entering into what we hope will be a busy period for site acquisitions, which will require a high degree of financial diligence and modelling to ascertain viability of opportunities and to inform potential returns.
Key Accountabilities:Typically, the candidate will be expected to undertake and assist with the following duties:
Being a key member of the Investment Management team, working with the CFO and the finance team with the preparation of advanced Excel models as part of business planning and strategy activitiesRelating forecasts back to the TPG business plan and reporting against it with commercially-focused variance analysis.Preparing regular KPI based reports on development performance for all stakeholders including management, shareholder, and debt finance providers.Ad-hoc financial projects and financial analysis assignments with a focus on corporate finance and business planningProvide financial analysis support to other departments, handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentAppraising prospective site acquisitions as we expand the business, to cashflow projects from start to finish and calculate returns.Qualifications and Experience:Business/ Real Estate Primary Degree with a strong financial backgroundHighly numerate with advanced Excel Modelling / PowerPoint/ Report Writing skillsMinimum 5 years' experience in a relevant real estate organisationStrong interpersonal skills and clear demonstration of an ability to work independently while multitasking in a fast-paced environment.Interest in developing a career in corporate finance and real estate developmentCore Competencies of the Role:Excellent attention to detailHighly numerate with ability to apply these skills using advanced excel techniquesAbility to critically analyse detailed financial plans, identifying key metrics and trendsClear and concise written and verbal communication skillsAnalytical problem solver who looks for solutionsSelf-motivated with ability to work unsupervised in a high growth environmentDriven and ambitiousExcellent time management skills with an ability to prioritise tasks appropriatelyQuintain has an exciting road ahead, and we are looking for the best talent to join our fantastic team.
