Operations Manager (Logistics)
We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee both the warehouse and transport departments in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
Role Overview
As the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the warehouse and transport teams, fostering cooperation and teamwork between both departments.
Key Responsibilities:
* Strategically oversee operations: Plan and manage warehouse and transport functions to ensure streamlined collaboration.
* Team management: Directly manage department supervisors and guide a total of 83 team members.
* Order cycle optimisation: Oversee and improve the full order cycle, from warehouse processes to final delivery.
* System management: Utilise WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) effectively.
* Teamwork and development: Foster collaboration between transport and warehouse teams to achieve shared goals.
* Performance monitoring: Track metrics and use data analysis to improve operational efficiency.
* Compliance and safety: Ensure operations comply with Health & Safety standards.
* Problem-solving: Address any arising issues or complaints promptly and efficiently.
* Continuous improvement: Identify and implement innovative ways to enhance operations.
* Stakeholder engagement: Collaborate across departments and with management to align operations with company goals.
Qualifications & Experience
* Essential:
o Minimum of 4-5 years' experience in logistics/operations management within FMCG or similar sectors.
o Proven ability to manage large teams and foster collaboration.
o Expertise in WMS.
o Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
o Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
o Hands-on experience in improving workflow efficiency and team performance.
o Solid understanding of warehouse and transport operations.
o Familiarity with workplace safety and environmental factors.

Role Details
Hours: 45 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM with flexibility).
Salary: €45,000 - €55,000 per year (depending on experience).
