This full-time position involves working 38 hours per week, with flexible hours from Monday to Thursday (8:00am to 5:00pm) and Friday (8:00am to 3:00pm). A Day in the Life of an Organisational Design Specialist
This role requires a skilled professional to assess and diagnose organisational structures, identify areas for improvement, and develop strategies to align the company structure with its goals and expansion plans. Key responsibilities include:
* Conducting organisational assessments using surveys, interviews, and observations
* Aligning organisational development strategies with business goals and facilitating strategic planning sessions
* Leading change management initiatives, managing resistance to change, and ensuring smooth transitions
* Identifying skill gaps and developing training programs, including leadership development and succession planning
* Facilitating workshops to promote teamwork and collaboration, and supporting team dynamics
* Reviewing and refining performance management systems, and consulting on performance appraisals
* Advising on structural changes to improve efficiency and effectiveness, and helping redesign processes
* Initiating programs to foster a positive organisational culture and promote diversity and inclusion
* Developing talent acquisition and retention strategies, and implementing employee engagement programs
* Providing coaching to executives and developing mentoring programs
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Management, Psychology, or Organisational Development
* Strong analytical skills to assess organisational structures and recommend improvements
* Excellent communication skills for interacting with various stakeholders
* Experience in change management and systems thinking
* Business acumen to ensure organisational designs align with company goals
* Rlevant industry experience in organisational design within HR, management consulting, or business operations
* Leadership experience and experience working with senior management on strategic initiatives
Preferred Qualifications
Certifications such as CIPD, CCMP, Six Sigma, or Lean are desirable, as is familiarity with data analytics tools and HRIS systems.
