Operations Manager Job Summary
The Role:
We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our team in the Monaghan area on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading, developing and motivating all supervisors to ensure they are operating at full potential and that production processes are running efficiently.
Main Responsibilities:
* Provide clear direction and coaching to the management team to ensure they understand their roles and responsibilities.
* Oversee the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, training, performance management, and attendance management.
* Develop and implement key process indicators to monitor performance and drive continuous improvement.
* Promote a pro-active attitude to removing roadblocks and creating a culture of excellence.
* Maintain compliance with applicable departmental and industry standards, including BRC, Bord Bia, and Health & Safety.
The Person:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A minimum of three years' production management experience within a manufacturing environment.
* A high level of understanding of operating integrity, quality systems, compliance, and quality.
* A strong work ethic, trustworthy leadership, and excellent people management skills.
* Excellent problem-solving skills, communication skills, and organizational skills.
