Key job responsibilitiesDevelop test strategies, and automated test casesBuild test infrastructure/environment to support manual and automation testingUse technical knowledge to create, execute, and maintain test plans and automation involving one or more product components and/or featuresCreate and maintain automation scripts, and make configuration changesTroubleshoot test failures/automation failures and isolate bugs to help developers research the root cause of defectsPerform initial defect triage and root cause analysis, and escalate roadblocks/risksEnhance test processes and mechanismsBASIC QUALIFICATIONS2+ years of quality assurance engineering experienceBachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related fieldExperience in manual testingExperience in automation testingIn-depth knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or Java and ability to automate test casesFamiliarity with automation testing tools such as Pytest, Appium, Cypress, etc.Working knowledge of Linux, Windows, MacOS, Cloud (AWS) environments and their development toolsFamiliarity with Hardware & Software development process and lifecycle (HDLC and SDLC)Good knowledge of QA methodologies and tools (TestRail, JIRA, Confluence, etc.
