The role of Supervising Pharmacist in a Pharmacy in Co. Wexford requires providing pharmaceutical services while adhering to legislative, contractual, professional and ethical obligations.
Key Responsibilities
* Complete and manage the dispensing process.
* Supervise and direct pharmacy staff activities.
* Manage pharmacy stock levels.
* Ensure data checking is done according to store operations.
* Provide expert advice on safe and appropriate medicine use.
* Offer guidance on over-the-counter and pharmacy-only medicines.
* Assess patients' symptoms and provide treatment options.
* Maintain effective relationships with patients, customers, and suppliers.
* Communicate effectively with diverse groups, including patients, staff, and health professionals.
Requirements
* Registered Pharmacist with no conditions attached to registration.
* A minimum of three years post-registration experience, preferably in an Irish retail pharmacy.
* Previous experience as a Supervising Pharmacist is preferred but not essential.
* Extensive experience in community pharmacy operation.
* Demonstrated capability to perform effectively as a pharmacist.
* Ability to form effective relationships and communicate clearly.
* Great organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Demonstrated commitment to quality service provision.
* Ability to manage tasks in a fast-paced environment.
* Honesty, integrity, and understanding of confidentiality importance.
* EU residency or valid employment permit required for applicants.
