The Client:
My Client is an established-but-growing Residential Developer. They have several sites in Munster and are known for building quality homes across the Country.
I'm looking for a Project Manager / Senior Site Manager to look after a Housing project near Tralee. It will be a unit development consisting of 2no. and 3no. storey, Timber-Frame properties. You'd be the most senior person on Site and it would be great if you come from an Engineering background but this isn't a requirement. You could also come from a trades background and have previous experience managing Housing Developments.
As this is an established, close-knit team, we're also looking for someone who enjoys being part of a team, takes pride in what they do and seeing others do well. This position has supervisory responsibilities, so we are also looking for someone who has the ability to develop people and processes and who possesses excellent communication skills.
Main responsibilities will include:
* Manage relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
* Monitor project progress, manage risks, and resolve issues as they arise.
* Manage on-site Construction Activities, ensuring Project Milestones are met.
* Supervise and Coordinate Subcontractors, Suppliers, and Trades.
* Manage EHS as per Company and Industry standards.
* Ensure Quality Control and adherence to Project Specifications.
* Manage site records, progress reports, and day-to-day problem-solving.
* Monitor project costs and ensure resources are used efficiently.
Requirements:
* Degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
* Minimum of 5 years of experience as Construction Engineer/Senior Engineer/Site Manager/PM.
* It would be great if you'd managed a housing project previously.
* Strong knowledge of construction techniques, regulations, and health & safety requirements.
* Proven track record in delivering complex residential projects on time and within budget.
* Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
* Ability to manage multiple teams across various disciplines.
* It would be great to have Project Management qualifications (PMP, Degree, etc.).
