Manufacturing Production Manager €85k to €95k (41288) Dublin, Republic of Ireland

Orange Recruitment are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Production Manager to lead a team of shift line managers in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for overseeing production processes, efficiency, and output, ensuring that operational goals are met while working closely with engineering teams to drive manufacturing excellence.
In this role, you will play a key part in leading operational transformation, embedding Lean Six Sigma principles such as Autonomous Maintenance (AM) and Progressive Maintenance (PM) to optimize performance. As a leader, you will foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and accountability, ensuring smooth operations in a unionized setting.
Responsibilities:
* Lead and develop shift line managers, providing coaching and mentoring to build a high-performing team.
* Drive productivity, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness across production lines.
* Implement Lean Six Sigma methodologies to enhance operational efficiency.
* Work closely with engineering, maintenance, and quality teams to optimize processes.
* Support the development and execution of annual manufacturing plans aligned with key business objectives.
* Maintain positive working relationships with trade union representatives.
* Establish robust performance review and control measures, driving a culture of accountability and high performance.
* Attract, retain, and develop talent by implementing training and development strategies to enhance both technical and leadership capabilities.
Requirements:
* Proven leadership experience in a fast-moving, unionized manufacturing environment (preferably within FMCG or food production).
* Strong background in Lean Manufacturing, TPM (Total Productive Maintenance), 5S, and Six Sigma methodologies.
* Excellent communication, leadership, and coaching skills, with the ability to engage and motivate teams.
* Experience in analytics, problem-solving, and performance management.
* Ideally, a degree in Engineering, Food Science, or a related field, with strong financial and business acumen.
* Knowledge of industrial maintenance, manufacturing equipment, and process improvement techniques.
