Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Contracts Manager to join our team. As a Contracts Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing contracts across various sectors, ensuring the successful execution of projects from inception to completion. This is a leadership position that requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Responsibilities
1. Manage the entire contract lifecycle, from bid preparation to project completion, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and company policies.
2. Collaborate with internal teams to review and negotiate contracts, ensuring alignment with project requirements and profitability goals.
3. Work closely with Project Managers to ensure seamless project execution and adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
4. Provide guidance on contractual matters, offering insights to mitigate risks and enhance project success.
5. Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to foster collaboration and enhance project outcomes.
6. Act as the primary point of contact for contractual queries and dispute resolution, promoting effective communication and conflict resolution.
7. Identify and assess potential risks associated with contracts and projects, implementing proactive measures to mitigate risks and ensure successful project delivery.
8. Stay abreast of industry regulations, legal requirements, and best practices to ensure the company's compliance and uphold the highest standards of professionalism.
9. Work in tandem with the finance department to monitor project financials, track costs, and ensure that projects remain within budgetary constraints.
Qualifications:
10. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Construction Management, or a related field.
11. Proven experience as a Contracts Manager in the construction industry.
12. Strong understanding of commercial, medical, industrial, and pharmaceutical construction practices.
13. Exceptional negotiation and communication skills.
14. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
15. In-depth knowledge of contract law and construction regulations.
