My client, a well-known Manufacturing Plant based in Athlone, is seeking to hire a Customer Service Representative for the German market. The German Customer Service plays a crucial role in providing administrative support to both customers and external sales representatives, ensuring the efficient and timely management of all customer requirements.
The position is a permanent full-time role, with a working week of Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.
Key Responsibilities of German Customer Service:
1. Building and maintaining relationships with customers.
2. Processing customer orders, providing advice and support for customer queries.
3. Assisting the quality department with claim processing, overseeing transport schedules.
4. Liaising with technical and R&D departments to provide product information.
5. Offering sales support to the external sales team, and carrying out general administrative duties as required.
The Ideal Experience:
1. Will possess excellent spoken and written English and Fluent German.
2. Business-related qualification with 2-3 years' experience in a customer service or telesales environment, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
3. Strong customer focus, communication skills, and proficiency in MS Office applications.
4. Attention to detail and accuracy are essential qualities.
5. Knowledge of an ERP system is an advantage, but not a requirement as full training will be provided.
